Re: Private Hire-Again

Goodmorning everone- I have had a friend ask me if I can do their refinance. My question is do they have the right to hire me if they request it? Then it comes down to the question of will whoever draws up docs still be responsible if there is a mistake on the docs(not mine)? Or am I holding responsibility of that? Kind of torn here, seeing as this is a pretty new concept for all involved, the local title comps and my friends. I dont have a problem doing this for them, I just want to make sure all involved play their roles in responsibility. All opinions appreciated.

Re: Private Hire-Again

I did a purchase for a friend buying property in florida. The title company did not have a problem with it. The TC sent the docs directly to her; she signed, I notarized - all was good.
