I am interested in taking a class in the Los Angeles area for loan doc signing on reverse mortgages. Is the training really necessary; are the docs that much different from other loan docs; and if so does anyone know where I can find a mtg company offering this training?

I just did two reverse mortgages and my opinion is yes, they are different than other signings. I was going to check out Reeves/Hary to take their course on Reverse Mortgages. Hope this helps.

I've done 4 here in Maryland. I don't see the need for a class. By the way, 1 of the 4 was a line of credit.
