My question is in regards to hooking my laptop for internet service from my van. I have been doing research on the 2 options and would like to get some opinions from people who do have one of these services already. I am leaning toward satellite for reliablity and speed factors.
Can you please give me the pros and cons of your experience?

I'm not sure what you mean. You can't get online from your van unless you are parked close to a hot-spot (wi-fi), or you could use a bluetooth card and dial-up service via a bluetooth cellphone.
