Sign On-the-X - (in NY)

I'm new & took a signing for Monday. I was reading some recent posts, and am curious. Do they ever pay anyone? I'm getting a little nervous about having taken this one. Thanks for any input.

The best I can say is you will get experience. You may get paid but it will probably take several letters, calls, faxes and threats.

Search on the following "
sox
no no
avoid

read all the threads that come up.

Good luck take a screen name such as paul/NY - will get better answers from NY notaries if you post a question.

Thanks. The lender was using Lynux & I couldn't download the docs, so at least I didn't incur that expense. They are sending them overnight. Guess I'll just chalk it up as a lesson learned.

Shouldn't be the printer. HP owns PCL language and their printer are compliant!!.

I believe the HP number he quoted

is a inkjet, thus no PCL drivers:-)

Just read the bad comments on Sign on the x and am very nervous. I too am new and did 1 signing the end of March and 5 more in April for this company. Experience is good but I certainly hope to get paid.

I just recieved my second payment from them, both were on time and I did not have to call them at all.

I guess I am lucky, or very very very good at my job.

You will get paid by SOX - but not very fast. You may have to call and bug them. I no longer work with them.

It seems as if the old management or at least Liz and Andy have morphed into a company called Notary Biz. They so far seem to be about the same as 24/7 with phone calls, etc. Andy said that they planned to pay notaries in around 30 days however. Will be interesting to see if they do.....
