Sloppy Docs????

Question: If the borrower's name is misspelled on each loan doc and the lender wants the borrower to make the correction on each doc and initial each correction, should I charge more for the extra time or just turn down the signing, and if I charge more, what's reasonalble? Also, the original appointment was for yesterday, but they just sent the docs.

Don't backdate!

Some of the docs may not be recordable if changes are made to them.

Your fee should be your normal fee. The fact that we breeze in and out on some and others take longer is just a part of this business. Sorry.

This happened to me a few times. I didn't increase my fee any of the times.
