Do a search. Zillions of comments on this company, both good and bad.

Re: Reason For Asking

I accepted a signing Friday afternoon, for Monday at 5pm, was told I would receive the edocs friday evening. I called the borrower, only to confuse him more, he didnt even know the rate the loan was gonna be, and was confused how the signing was being scheduled without his okay to do it. Needless to say, i never received the edocs, called them this morning to see what was going on, only to get a "we'll find out and call you right back". Waited all day, turned down a signing, and at 5:15pm I received a call from the SS, i just let it ring !

Re: Reason For Asking

As far as I remember, Vital deals with Ameriquest. That would explain the mortgagor's confusion.

They are a hand holding fax back company. I did one for them way way back, and even though they pay (as they should since Ameriquest are a pain in the patootie) it just ain't worth it.

Yes they pay, but you have to decide if it's worth it or not.

Re: Reason For Asking

It was most likely an Ameriquest loan, I can't tell you the # of times I've printed docs for them and the loan is cancelled or the borrower never knew about the signing to begin with. They are very nice and pay in a timely manner...if the siging ever does take place! I have also missed out on many other signings in the past b/c I agreed to do a closing for them and it never occured. Now, if it's the EOM and I know I'll be getting other calls, I turn them down.

Re: Reason For Asking

Everyone in is most likely right,90% of their business is Ameriquest they have always met our fee and paid on time. But there is alot of Fax-Backs 18-25 pages we have had alot of their work but they are a pain. We have run into alot of the husband only signs these papers and the wife only signs these papers you have to watch real close for all the certain forms for each to sign. Just A PAIN.

Re: Reason For Asking

Jason, they are super nice people at Vital Signings. I have done a lot for them in the past, and they always paid on time. However since my health declined I have turned down a lot of their signings. They are very nice about it, they put me on a "do not call at the moment" type of list and noted dates they were going to get back in touch with me.
In fact, Barry, Cory's father called me today. We had a nice conversation and I have told him that I will no longer do Ameriquest signings, they are too much of a pain, and I have not the energy to deal with them. Barry was super nice and said he will make a note not to call me for Ameriquest signings.

I will always remember the signing they gave me that was in a bad neighbourhood, and the scheduler wasn't aware of it until I mentioned it.
While I was at the signing the scheduler called me to make sure I was OK, he was concerned.

Re: Reason For Asking

Hey Sylvia, That was really nice of them to check up on you !!!! They just emailed the docs for the signing anyway, should I call and tell them again, I cannot do the signing ?

Re: Reason For Asking

Yes, if you really cannot do the signing, call and let them know so they have time to find another signing agent. Don't leave them hanging thinking you will be doing it.

Re: Reason For Asking

You turned down a signing when the borrower told you he wasn't even sure if he was going to do it AND they were a day late on the edocs? Not a good move.

If the borrower is unwilling to confirm the appointment then in my eyes I still have that time available for other work. If they ultimately do want to sign it'll have to be around my schedule.

Re: No No No, that's not it

I accepted the signing for Monday, at 5pm, I called them this morning, to see what was going on, as I was set to get the edocs on Friday evening. I didnt receive the edocs, I was told, they would find out and call me back, they didnt call back until 10:00pm tonight wanting to reschedule for Tuesday, I had already booked my day for tuesday, so I called and told them I couldnt do it, I turned it down, because of my schedule. not because they rescheduled it.

Took a signing from Vital signings last week. I will NEVER work with them again!

The docs were easy enough; they arrived on time, no issues with the borrower, etc. The problem with Vital Signings began when they decided they need to harass me ALL day long! I had 6 other signings on Friday, was not sitting next to the phone waiting for Vital to call me. They contacted me aprox. 20 times during this day, each time it was the same person. Reason for the calls... hmmm, let's see.
1.) Did you call the br? (this question is an expected one, however - I do not expect such a question after I have just explained to them what the BR had said not more then 15 mins before.)
2.) What time are you meeting with the BR? (Well, since the apt was scheduled for 7, and I have already confirmed...my guess is 7)
3.) Docs have been sent did you get them? (This one is quickly followed by a call that asks, Did you print them?) Hmmm... maybe you should read the email I sent to you which said "Received and Printed, Thanks!")
4.) 6:00 pm - "Hi, are you leaving now for the appointment?" Nope - it is only 25 mins away.
5.) 6:45 pm - "Hi, are you driving now for the appointment?" GOOD LORD!!
6.) 7:00 pm - "How did it go?" Hmm....LET ME FINISH AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW!!
7.) 7:30 pm - "We have not received our fax backs" What the #%^*!!!!
8.) 9:00 pm - "Why haven’t you called us to let us know it was completed?" Well, let me think....you have called me a million times since I have finished, is there a need for me to call??

And the beat goes on....

I have never worked with such a pain in the a$$ company before and will never again.

If you would like to be harassed, work with Vital signings.

Reason for the Anon post, I would like to remain working in this field....don't need to be black listed just yet.

Good luck to all which like working with Vital - I am an adult and do not need to be baby sat!

Can't they put themselves in your place and understand how nerve wracking that is, or are they just little robots. You are juggeling 5 balls in the air (while taking their stupid calls) and they sit in a cubicle harassing people.

I've done quite a few and they have always met my fee. They called me yesterday for one this afternoon 30 minutes away . She said they could only pay $100. No way will I do an Ameriquest for that. She said she would have to get approval for higher fee and call me back, haven't heard from her, but really didn't expect to.

Last cutoff they asked me to do a signing and I believe it was Amerq. It was near by but offered $75 for edocs and wouldn't budge, and then the babysitting. Get a life.

Re: Vital Signing...Teasa & Anon.....

This is so interesting the way Vital Signing held your hand and called you so many times - I have done over 50 signings with them & the ONLY time they ever called me was to ask if I would accepted the assignments.

Vital Signing is one of the top on my list; they have always acknowledged my work and never berated me in any way, by calling numerous times question me...a plus...their staff is extremely friendly & helpful.
