$465K on a modest 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a nice family neighborhood in Berkeley, California.
1/8 acre lot. Nice 1500 sq ft house but nothing fancy. The couple had twin toddlers but never had any time to be with them because they each worked full-time-plus jobs as attorneys.
The house was a few miles away from a major earthquake fault. They didn't have earthquake insurance because they couldn't afford it. I believed them after seeing the 1003 and their TIL.
That was one of the harbingers for me to pack up and leave California.

$800K in Florida beach community. The house was a small ranch and was a bit dated but it sat right on the Gulf of Mexico, the view was breathtaking. Borrowers also signed docs without reviewing and I was in and out in an hour.

I routinely have ones that are over 750K, bring that this is the Bay Area and our home values have skyrocketed in the past few years. I did do a 2.9m in Atherton two weeks ago and have a 1.8 m later today in Palo Alto.

I did a $750k in the California Central Valley. Which you wold find amazing if you knew that this is where people move when they can't afford a house in the East Bay. Can't believe the changes in the last 10 years.
