competing SSs

Got a call last night for a closing in x at y time.
Turned it down because the SS is on my personal no no list.
Got a call today - different SS, same town, same time.

This is not the first time this has happened. The chances of this being 2 different closings are very very slim.

Do TCs give a SS a certain amount of time to fill an assignment and then try another SS or, do they give it to more than one at a time and the first to fill it gets it?

Both

I have had that happen many times. Usually the second call comes within a few hours of the first.

Art, you have given us yet another reason to turn down bad SSs.

I have had this happen a few times.

I spoke to one of my TC's about this and they tell me that if things get hectic and they aren't able to fill it themselves that they outsource to a few different SS's and see who fills the order first. This is especially true at EOM.
