Anything that you print (in any state) has to be done on a laser. The ink flakes off when printed on anything other than a laser.

If you printed on a inkjet - go to copy center and make a dozen copies. The copies are laser copies.

If you print it use a laser. Obviously ink stamps are OK though since 99% of us use one. I use one for Jurats sometimes because Virginias wording isn't so lengthy that it isn't readable on a moderately large stamp.

In Ca there is no requirement for loose certs to be printed with a laser or or any other kind of printer. I personally use a laser because it is more permanent. Before they started doing edocs, all I had was an inkjet and I printed all my loose certs on it.

Re: BTW.....again

....the laser requirement for docs is not a government mandated requirement, it is a lender requirement. At least in CA anyway, other states may be different.
