just venting

Now to add to my list of things to do...
Collection!
I love how the SS puts me through the 'test' and holds my hand and is my best friend until they get the pkg back...a month and a half later the phone doesn't work at Paramount. I track down Robert Ramos at another company, can't understand what the guy says when he answers. So I talk to Robert the first time, he says checks mailed out the 15th, I call later and say no check, He gets my information this time and tells me "I'm walking this over to accounting right now, I'll call you back with a tracking number. Monday morning 10 days later no check, I'd write but I don't even know if Paramount is in business anymore. I'm going to make another call today just because this just really tix me off, after I think about what we do to get the job done quickly and professionally, we hop thru hoops to do it right! Ba*tard!

Re: update

Hi Charm,

Well, Paramount was in business at least until Monday, April 25 th (crunch time day). Unfortunately, I accepted a signing for that evening. When I accepted it, I knew that the guy who called me, his name was Rob. But I didn't know his last name was Ramos until later on. And Paramount really didn't ring a bell with me at that time. It was really last minute.

The signing was pretty much a disaster. They ended up not signing, which was fine with me. Big time problems with the Truth in Lending Disclosure statement. It was really late, and I just wanted to go home. The wife pretty much wanted to read everything. One of those types.

I did mail an email with an overview of the signing to a fellow there by the name of Armando; that was on Thursday, April 28th. Never received any response to that email.

The office phone number I have is: 561 - 752 - 4332. Is that the one that is not in service? TX and best wishes.

Ted

Thanks Ted
The number I had (on their stationary confirmation) was 561 577-7220 in West Palm Beach...now it's a different one, probably a cell phone. I did ask about them here but no one responded. After I looked at the confirmation again it said
Sincerely,

RBR Services Corp.

Did a search on them and found out that he hasn't paid other notaries as well. Unfortunately this was done after I tried to collect the first time. But now I'm like a dog with a bone and I will call him daily until he cuts a check or changes his number again. Sounds like another Sirini

Re: Ted

You know, depending on the state the company is in, but to my knowledge all states have a consumer fraud division. I filed a complaint with against sign at the X through the fraud division and the BBB. Got a nasty phone call telling me I was a liar. I told them I had documentation of all collection attempts. If they pay me I would stop my complaints. I got a check in 3 days. If you look at Notary Beware they have a horrible reputation, so who was the liar?
I did get paid, took 3.5 months. Sick an agency on them and good luck.
