new notary
Hello, I am a new notary, and I have received a couple of calls, regarding signings, but when I don't have any references or prior signing experience, they seem to shy away. Can someone give me some idea as to how to overcome this obstabcle??

Welcome! This question has been discussed many times. The best thing to do is to sign up with as many companies as you can, there are good ones on this site under signing services. Everyone starts somewhere and you'll just have to find ways to get yourself out there as much as possible. My first call was from a SS looking at this site for a SA, I suggest you become a premiere member and write a professional comment about yourself. It'll come sooner or later. Also, signing up on websites like this is good for exposure.

Re: I'm also new
I signed up with about 100 comapnies and I also received calls that asked about experience and they told me that the particular signing they were calling about needed to have experience. The same company called me back last night and I have a signing for them tomorrow.
There are companies that will give you a chance, it took me a couple months to actually get my first signing.
Hang in there!!
