Advertising Pens
Has anyone used advertising pens in their business? If so, where did you find the best price for them. I am thinking about getting some pens with my business name and phone number and giving them away at closings. Anybody see a problem with this?
How do you advertising besides signing up with signing companies and websites?

Hugh has posted a good place. You might do a search for HisHughness and pens.

I supply the pens in all my signings, this way I know what the color is, and it does have my name and whatever on it. I use the stick with an eraser end. No caps to take off, no pushing, just pick it up, start the ink flow and go from there. Leave it on the table when you go. I'm looking to see where I got them from, look up my profile for my e-mail if you're interested. Hopefully I'll have found the address.

NATIONAL PEN
National Pen is a wonderful place to get marketing pens and once you purchase from them, you will receive all these wonderful deals they offer (i.e. buy 50 pens and receive an additional 50 free). This is where I get all of my pens

I give away pens all the time and people LOVE them! Get them from National Pen Corp. also. Really reasonable.

Re: NATIONAL PEN - the best!... Word of caution.......
If you decide to give away pens, make sure that they are of some quality. Years ago I bought some cheapo ones from National Pen and you can guess how many people I got so P.O'd when the pens leaked all over them!

Been suppling pens at all my jobs as advertising. I get them from National Pen Corporation. They have various styles and offer deals such as buy 150 get 150 free.
You design the pen on line.

I give out my business cards at every closing. I bought the magnetic calendars with my business card on the top for all of my top ss's and tc's. I'm going to put them in their Christmas cards. (I am not advertising for them... I bought those from Vistaprint).

Advertising Pens...who do you give them to
Keep in mind, that giving these pens to the borrowers is nice. But might not be as effective as giving them to the people handing you the work. When someone picking SA's is using your pen what name will they have in mind and hand?
People love freebies, walk in to a mortgage co. or title/escrow co. and give the pens away
Just a thought
