Computer and Prnter

I'm on the search for a new printer with more memory after conversation yesterday. What does PCL6 mean? Someone said to get at least HP1200. Will this be big enough. Can I add more memory to it? I read somewhere that a Dell Computer wouldn't cut the rug for what we need to print in edocs. I have a Dell Dimension 4600. Intel. Pentium 4CPU. 2.80 Ghz. 512 Ram.

Any suggestions before I get a printer and my computer is behind the curve.

Your computer is more than adequate.
Do a search for printers - there have been a thousand messages regarding printers. The posts will give explinations of terms and what is required of a printer.
