Documents on the run
Has any one had problems lately getting paid from Documents on the run?

I did a signing for them last June and still have not been paid. I called them several times and was told to stop harrassing them. I then called the escrow company that hired them and verifed they Docs on the Run was paid about a week and a half later. I also faxed four invoices to them and then I filed a complaint against them to the Better Business Bureau. They never responed to the complaint and now have a negative report about them.
After all of this I STILL NEVER GOT PAID. I contacted the National Notary Association but was told there was not much they could do until more people complained about them.

You might give the Lender and/or the TC a call. They might be able to help. When I threatened (nicely) to do that, as well as the BBB, with my only no pay, they paid.

I was paid within two weeks of the one signing i did for them
But as the others suggested...you have to go above them...including filing a complaint with the BBB and maybe even getting a lawyer.
You may need to go above whoever you talked to last as well. and keep going up and i dont know how much they owe you...but maybe even "threaten' with a law suit!
good luck!

I too haven't been paid; signing was over 2 months ago. I'm surprised and disappointed in this signing service. Last year I did many signings for them and they paid within 2 or 3 weeks. They obviously are in trouble. I called Misty (receptionist) and told her I wanted to be paid and that Internet forums are catching onto them. Hope that works.

Please for all of those who have had problems with Documents on the Run please please please contact the National Notary Association. The NNA will NOT take them off of their list until there have been several complaints agains them.
DO NOT ACCEPT JOBS FROM THIS COMPANY. WE DO THE WORK AND THEY MAKE THE MONEY!!!! THIS IS A CRIMINAL ACTION AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED!!!
DOCUMENTS ON THE RUN IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

Oh wow, really? I used to do tons of work for them, loved Misty. I just got used to it taking 60 days to get paid from them. I had not heard from them in a few months, did one job for them last month.....bet it is lost money. In fact I emailed her last week about something else, and she did not reply. I really hope everything is fine because I really liked them. Except for the taking a long time to pay.

I called Misty again to ask about my payment for a signing I did back on 9/05 and she was really upset at me because I called another notary in my area to warn her that Documents on the Run has not been paying their notaries and she hung up on me. Oh well, I guess I'll call the lender, escrow/title company and NNA. Really feel bad about this I really like Misty and Susanne too.

FYI to everyone....Docs on the Run seems to be doing fine. I have no qualms about doing business with them, they have always been great to me!
