Does anyone have an emergency # for NREIS
I have an appt for Monday and I need to fly to Ohio tomorrow for a family emergency. I don't know what to do, should I just leave a message? I have docs. Does anyone have an emergency 24hr # for NREIS?

Ok I'm having a brain fart (or maybe it's the wiskey) who is NRIES? I always confuse them for NFRES.

The only number I have for them is: 877-297-5619
They list their "main" phone as: 800-753-3339

No answer on either number. Should I leave a message? Should I call the borrower?

CALL THE BORROWER ASAP!! See if you can find another notary in your area to cover this one, and call NREIS as soon as you can and explain the problem to them. I'm sure they would appreciate it if you could find another notary to cover this, so they won't have to scamble. (Shows 'em you're thinking... means more calls from them). Good luck!

OK, I think I worked it out. Thank all for your replies. I hated getting that call that we all dread "mom's not doing well, come home now." Prayers please.
