Early Morning Stroll

I dropped off my son at school this morning and started heading towards my office. I was driving down a really busy roadway and I notice a man walking on the sidewalk ahead of me with his back facing me.

My first thought was...
Kinda chilly to be walking without a shirt or jacket on this morning, but on well.

Next thought...
His pants are skin tight and they're a funny color

Following thought...
Those aren't pants! That's skin!!!

I called my husband at home from my cell and asked him to call the police department. I knew a non-threatening naked man did not warrant a 911 call and I didn't have the police department on my cell's speed dial.

As I passed by the man I looked in my rear view mirror, because... apparently, I'm just another dirty old lady who wanted to see if the guy had anything to write home about. And the report is... There was nothing to write home about.

***Naked man sighting was 7:12 a.m, Nov. 18, Ardath Road, just before Prospect Place intersection.***

Anon, there are a few of us here that deal with similar issues in our daily lives just in case you didn't know. It's not something we forget. No need for reminding.

The funny part to me was Maggie looking in the rear view mirror and poking fun at herself. I don't think there's enough coffee on earth for me this morning.

Wasn't trying to offend...

If I was poking fun at anyone and laughing it was at myself. The situation was funny and unusual. This was in La Jolla, a very upscale community in San Diego County. Not something that you would see anywhere, especially in a neighborhood of $2M homes.

Both my husband and one of my sons have mental/emotional problems. I would never pick on anyone. I just think we need to laugh at ourselves and life in general. By no means was a ridiculing the man. I apologize to anyone out there who thought I was.

No offense taken...
You hear stories sometimes about a husband coming home early....wonder if the guy just didn't have time to get dressed? LOL Thanks for the giggle today!

Sounds to me like someone was coming from or going to Black's Beach in La Jolla. It's an "unofficial" nudist beach, for those not familiar with the area.

Re: Wasn't trying to offend...

I would have sworn you were in South Orange County until you said La Jolla! There's been a guy showing up naked at several area businesses in the early morning hours trying to get the attention of solo females. The latest one (all over the news here) was at a Starbucks (where I've done a number of signings...) This guy (in his 20s, white) exhibits lewd behavior and the authorities are afraid he might get increasingly bold. He's been at this for a long time (someone I know saw him when out for an early morning jog several months ago), but they're having a tough time catching him because he knows how long it takes for the police to get there (not much, around here!) and he flees before they can arrive. Fortunately, I'm rarely conscious at the hours he's out doing his thing. (Oops, no pun intended... ;>)) In your case, I'm betting with those who said Black's Beach!

What time are you conscious?

I'm flexible with my schedule and take requests.

Amen, SB - Isn't that the truth! I am aware of what you deal with and I think you can relate to what I say when I mention: I find it very interesting at the number of people in the world who love having a "problem" in their lives so they can cluck their tongues at the rest of us for discussing it and so they can feel sorry for themselves over it.

News flash: 100% of the people in the world have difiiculties of one type or another.

I lost my husband to ...suicide...BUT, I met a notary here who has lost TWO children to suicide. Anon, you see...there are always problems bigger than your own.

People need to stop being so full of themselves under their cloak of the all-knowing ANONYMOUS.
