I mastered the CAT tool!...
LOL...ok - in your profile, you go to fees, way at the bottom... fill in your boxes and add a number to the mileage box so that the SS/TC can determine how much extra you charge outside what your willing to travel for that base fee, then they add in your cost of e-docs, faxes, copy charge if any and Viola! They have your fees. This is too cool...I sure hope they're using this awesome search feature...
Wonder if I'll get less calls now that I'm not accepting $50 bases anymore 
maybe that's a good thing!

YEAH... I was just in there too correcting all that...now it makes sense!!! a lot more now. But now I'm wondering...is this CAT only here at NOTROT or any other places and do I need to correct those fees too? do they have CATs too based on our profile fees?
just curious..sorry...life is a school....so is being a notary!

This is the only site I've seen that calculates this for you, but other sites let you fill out your requirements. -Melissa

Very helpful that calculation!
I suppose it would be unconventional to post what mine turned out to boil down to, the funny thing is it matched my total done in my head before I looked at the totals page!
I suppose that means I chose the correct values for me, I can only hope it's ok for the SS's looking in .......

checked the cat tool for my county....the mileage from me to the other towns is way off. A couple towns that are further away show less mileage than the ones that are closer....no shortcuts in this area.....only one main road in and out of town....don't know where they get their figs.
