I missed a party here last night?...

Man! I could have used a drink, in fact I could have taken a bath in alcohol!
I was too busy fumigating myself after my last signing.
Well, I've been officially inducted into the great Smellatorium...
I have to say that I was warned that the house was messy. But nothing could have prepared me for the condition of the place, we sat on a sofa and she signed on a board... shudder
All I could think about was breathing or how not to.

Morning Charm..UGH...I can sympathize...I remember going to signing where I couldnt eve find a safe pathway into the house because the floor was covered in garbage (rotten food, feces, etc...)...You want to feel sorry for these people but how on earth does someone get like that? Sorry you had such a smelly evening.

Re: Yikes!!!

Okay folks... I got one to top 'em all.
I arrived at the borrowers house to men in WHITE suits. Seems the septic tank had exploded and there was human feces ALL over the house! And I mean all over. There were flies everywhere. I told the borrower we had to go outside and sign, as the stench was overwhelming. We signed in the barn with the pigs.
I called this one my sh***y closing. Smiley

And here's another one....got to borrowers home. Large holes in the floor, holes in the walls. I kept hearing this strange noise. I asked the borrower what the noise was. She said, "Oh, we have ducks in the living room". Yessiree... 12 baby ducks in the living room. Not in a box... just roaming around. PHEWWIE!

Just ducks? how about chickens, goats, dogs, cats, birds all roming freely throughout the house. Cows in the front yard, outhouse in the back and 5 kids.

I did do a closing where the borrowers had a gaggle of geese for "watchdogs". Seems his old rotweiler liked people too much and wouldn't bark. So he bought a flock of geese to "sound the alarm". He greeted me and walked me into the house so the geese wouldn't attack me, and walked me back to my truck after the closing. Geez! Or should I say, "geese"? Smiley
