Lia Signing Services
First call from this company They called me Friday to do a closing on Wednesday the following week. I received docs today (Saturday). I did a search and It did have a few comments but nothing detailed. Does anyone have any info on this company. I Checked out website too, nothing particular. They offered me $75.00 for these docs. Cool. The closing is down the street from me about 8 blocks.
Very small Washington Mutual packet. Will I get paid. Any insight appreciated.

Hi Allison, Yes, Ed is very good about paying. Ive only done 2 for him, but he did pay when he said he would. He also has been a signing agent before, so he is familiar with what we are doing and very understanding. Lisa

I was called on December 19,2005 to do an equity line signing, docs were shipped overnight sgning appointment was for the 22nd. I asked on initial call when they pay, they said it would net 30 days from closing. After 32 days, I emailed and asked when the check was sent, they said they net 45. I sent another email asking for check number and date sent, they said it was cut and mailed on 2/16/06. It is now 2/28/06 and I have not received my $60.00 yet. I would not do business with this company again because of incorrect payment schedules and slow pay.

Follow up to this message, I finally got my check today, 3/02/06 from LIA. Oddly enough, it was written on 2/10/06, they said they cut it and mailed on 2/16/06. Well the postmark was dated 2/27/06. Plus, they sent it to my home address, not the P O Box address that is all over my invoices, doc request form and fax sheets. Something is very wrong with this process and I definately will not be working with them again.
