MOVING SOON TO OHIO
We will be relocating soon to Mansfield Ohio. We have a tentative schedule of moving on the 6th of Jan 2006. I will keep all my notaries up to date as to new numbers and addresses as soon as we get hard facts on those things. I have some info but will wiat till the hard facts are here before I let that info out.
I have enjoyed So Cal for alomost 19 years, it time to move on. California is just to expensive to operate a company in.

Good luck with your move! It's a shame you have to come east during the coldest month, though!

Welcome to the most wonderful state! You will have 4 seasons that will thrill you and being to the west of the lake you won't be too buried in snow. You willtrip over history at every turn and the ghost of many presidents will greet you. (That's if you like ghosts!) You'll be and hour away from the football Hall of Fame) if you are a sports fan and if there are children involed there is also an indoor carousel. Again, welcome to Ohio!

nothing if you like it! I grew up with it and couldn't wait to move where there is more summer than winter.

70 degrees here today...
and of course it'll be 30 by the end of the week, but that's what keeps it interesting. Tony is actually from the Mansfield area, so he's just returning to his roots.

So, are you moving all you daughters and other family also?

Yes, the whole family is going to be moving there. I am so blessed to have my family going also. Without them I would not have a notary signing service. I am just a figure head in this company. I get the headache of putting out the fires when they come up and paying the bills when they come in the mail also. ( Oh ya just ask some of the unhappy notaries I don't pay RIGHT)
I look foward to the much longed after sleeping in till 7 am on the east coast rather than waking up at 5 AM to speak to a company that is on the east coast calling me at 5 am my time. Oh well just part of owning your own SS I guess.

Re: MOVING SOON TO OHIO - you're all missing the point
I'm surprised Tony, that no one has commented on the obvious, ***California is just to expensive to operate a company in.***
That's a true statement, and not just for business'. In my area (Ventura County), some cities are having seminars for employers to address the issue of blue and white collar workers who can't flippin' afford to buy a home OR EVEN RENT in their cities (eg. City of Camarillo had one last week). Rents in my area are outa site...rent for a one bedroom apartment ranges from $1000 a month to $1500 a month, and these aren't luxury apartments, just the basics. Buying a home is worse - most of my closings lately are for interest only loans, where the buyer is gambling on the appreciation of the home, and the terms vary according to how much they want to gamble....their income/financials can't support a "real" payment, but their credit is good.
It's a sad thing - as a California native and an employee who, under any other state would be making an upper bracket income, in California it just doesn't go far. A real life comparison: after shopping with family in Arizona last year, I find a bottle of generic aspirin, 100 count costs $0.99. After coming back to Ventura, I find the same bottle of aspirin costs me $3.99 at my local Von's. I'm obviously no economics expert, but this is ridiculous.
I hate to think of living somewhere else, but it may come to that at some point in time. Tony, best of luck to you in Ohio. I guess the trade off is you get better economic conditions and four seasons. Buy some Sorrel's for tramping through the snow and ice
