Mobile Directions Part II-What does it cost?
Thanks for all the post on my first query on mobile directions. I meant mobile in the sense that I had no way to access a computer or print them. Thus, a GPS device seems like the way to go. What does it cost for the device and service? Does anyone access directions via a webquery on a cellphone such as Verizions new Vcast? Will that work? Thanks again.

"....I had no way to access a computer or print them."?? How do you get your documents, at Kinkos.?? If you don't have a computer and printer, your in the wrong business, IMHO. And if you don't have either, how can you afford a GPS unit. And if you don't have either, how can you get signing jobs and confirmations, etc etc.. Perhaps I missed something in your question.

do you mean if you are on the way and have no computer to look up a map? If you have Onstar and subscribe to certain services/packages, they can route you in.

I think Anon (orignal poster) was referring mobile to having a mini office in the car.

I close for several title companies at EOM. So I am on the road when the next one calls me and I swing by their office, but they are swamped so they cannot print mapquest. I could drive to a Kinkos if it were close but timing is tight. Thus, I wanted to know whether a cellphone, or laptop might be the best way to get directions while on the road.
