Motor Vehicle notaries

A friend of mine in PA introduced me to a service for Motor Vehicle Notaries. Has anyone else heard of this type of service in any other states?

I'm not totally sure, that's why I posted the question. I think it's exclusive to car loans of some sort. They have classroom training for the subject in PA. I figure it's just a PA thing:-)

It's mostly a PA thing. Notaries in PA can notarize many state motor vehicle forms and are often employed by auto dealerships or run their own notary business to include motor vehicle work.

The training that the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (our sister organization) offers is specialized for that type of work and meets the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation requirements.
