Need advise quick!!!

I have Panda antivirus. I am waiting on docs for a deal I'm closing tonight. When I got the e-mail, panda automatically deleted the attachment saying the file was "potentially dangerous and was deleted" Anybody else dealt with this?

That's never happened to me, but in Panda, you can go in and tell it to ask before deleting, or put it into quarantine can't you?

If something comes in with an *.exe, or a *.pif extension on it that can cause problems because, for instance, MS Outlook thinks it's a program you do not want to run. I have an account with gmail.com so I can receive those types of files. Never had Panda delete one, but definitely yes to MS Outlook. As I understand the HELP files, you cannot make Outlook stop deleting *.exe's.

If they are sending an *.exe file they are used to resending. If you do not have an alternate way to receive email they might be able to rename the file "file.xxx" and then it would not offend your security mechanisms. You'd have to name it back with *.exe on the end.

If you have a cell phone, you can go to gmail.com and get a gmail.com account...2.5 GIGS!
