Not Getting Paid
I did a signing for an escrow company about two months ago and successfully completed the signing for them. I was referred to them by a friend who does signing after signing for them and loves them to death. The normal wait period for this company is about two weeks, which is wonderful. I have waited for almost two months now and have not been paid yet. I am very new to this business and really dont know what to do. I want to do more signings for this company but dont want to make them mad by pestering them about money. Yet on the other hand I would really like to get paid for my services. My husband has said for me to call them because, being as busy as they are could have forgotten. I am in a bind and would like some advice from those of you who are more experienced. Thank you for your help and comments.

You are not in a bind. Simply pick up the phone and call them. Tell them that you're calling about an outstanding invoice.
Quality companies will not be offended or angry. They'll be glad you called so that they can get you paid promptly.
If they aren't a quality company and get upset because you called, then you don't want to work with them anyway, because you'll just get more of the same.
