Oh.. Those fax back docs!

I'm kind of chuckling to myself as I send back 22 pages of a doc package. No wonder my poor ol' fax machine wore itself out!
I can understand sending back the important docs, but sending pack EVERY page I notarize is a little silly to me. (Yea.. I know why t hey want 'em all back).
But... I had to fax the signature name aff, Patriot Act, (who in the world designed that? My state has 12 numbers on an ID, and I'm suppossed to fit 'em all in a teeny little box), One in the same doc, and two more ID verifications. Don't you think ONE of those ID verifications would be good enough?
Just venting. Thank goodness it was back to an 800 #!

Fax backs are a pain, especially 22 pages! I have to assume this is signing company work and I'm not saying they are good or bad, but I don't have the time for that for the amount of money that they pay.

However, if I was a signing company, I would certainly want the fax backs since it will save a lot of headaches with their clients if the error is caught before the docs are sent out! Smiley

I really hope I dont run into too many of those. The last 3 packages I've done had 15 notorizations each. I would pull out my hair if I had to fax back all of them.

22 pages? I gladly fax 1 to 4 pages free. 5 to 10 pages is an extra $10 and 11 or more pages is an extra $20. It's amazing how many companies are willing to do without faxbacks when they're faced with having to pay for it.

Probaly less than 5% of the SSs I deal with require faxbacks. When I do a signing late in the afternoon (but before the last FedEx/UPS, etc. pickup), especially on a Thursday where the loan package might not arrive until Monday if I don't get it out Thursday night, if it comes down to faxbacks or shipment for next morning, I'll opt for shipment.

I was checking my phone bill and there is a SS that their fax machine is too slowwwwwwwwwww
it takes 18 minutes to faxback their required documents(11 or 12pages!) hey my bill for just that
is almost 2 dollars! What to do in this cases, they dont pay you extra for faxing back and if you ask
they give it to somebody else. Next time I will tell them there is a faxback fee, will see.
