Hi Celeste.. Idid the signing on 9/23/05 and still no payment :< I have left messages and actually left another today. I hope this gets resolved.

Thanks for replying, if I don't receive payment in a couple of weeks, do you think it is unethical to let the title company know, they don't pay the notaries. Can't let signing services get away with non payment. We should have recouse against them!

A few years ago, I had a SS that never paid me after chasing after them for almost six months.

I called the TC and they ended up paying me, but they did berate me for not informing them sooner. The TC told me they have no way of knowing what the SS is or isn't doing, and needs to be kept informed in a more timely manner.

Most of my work is directly with TC's now, but if I were to have a SS that didn't pay with a few months, I would inform the TC. They may or may not pay me directly, but they should be informed as to whether or not the SS they contracted with is performing.
