STANDARD FEES
I,m a newbie. Just getting started. I will be doing mobile work in the Riverside County Ca. area. I'm wondering what people are charging for mobile acks and jurats in the area. I don't want to lowball anyone or step on a fellow notary's toes.. I feel that that if we stick together , we can all make some money . Thank you for any help .

I am the San Fernando Valley, and to travel pretty much any where in my local area is $45.00 plus the $10.00 for the ack.

All I know is that my business here is good, and that seems to a popular rate with notaries in my area, infact, there are notaries who charge up to $60.00 (just for travel) for local ack signings. So as long as I get new and repeat business I think I am fine.

I don't think they're talking about doing loan signings, just simple notarizations. Big difference in pricing.

Hi Alan - for just mobile notary work (not loan signing), my trip fee is now $60 PLUS $10 per notarized signature. And yes, I'm getting that fee. When agreeing to all of this on the phone, I make it clear that my trip fee is separate and due upon arrival. So far, so good

Wow $40 - $60 for trip is great. I can barely get $25 + $5/signature here in Kansas City. So when I get those types of calls (which I do get quite a bit) I encourage them to go to their bank because $30 is just not wise time spent for....unless it's a call from an elderly - which I usually do for free.
