Slow?

I am quite slow this month -- Is it unusual for November?

Hi Anand,

I've had only (2) this week, but I think it all depends on where you are located and how many other agents are in your area. I heard that with the hurricane destruction, people will be looking for homes and business may be picking up. We'll see?!?!? - Melissa

Going steady with 1-2 a day from TC/Lender, the only slow down is incoming call from lowballer SS.

Re: Slow?

I'm not slower than usual...which leaves me wondering how many companies you all are signed up with, also, hope you are continually signing up when you are slow...I've had to try and help a few companies find SA's in my area over the last week, for signings I couldn't get to.

Keep registering...have you been to 50statenotary's list? Make your own choices, not a recommendation either way.

Re: Slow?

Wow, Charm. What makes you think that these people are slow all of the time? How do you know it's just not a slow week for them? Maybe who they're signed up with has nothing to do with it. Haven't you ever had a slow week? Why don't you ask everyone who is busy if they are signed up with all of the same companies. You should get the facts because you can't always be right.

I was replying to the posts in this thread. You obviously have a personal problem with me...care to take it off the board and show your face? If not, get a life and quit responding to me.

Also, you may want to re-read my post and try to comprehend it.

Charm, forget anonymous. Your advice was sound. It got me to thinking about my own sign-ups. Thanks.

Now I KNOW you have taste! LOL!

And I think the advice in general that if you're not working you should be marketing is a great tip for everyone.

yup, anonym@sswipe strikes again.

Excellent advice by Charm again. In this business you have to set aside time each week to market and stick to it.

Re: Slow?

I've signed up with over 100 companies on this site and others. Many times it looks like the only way to contact them is by email. I send one that I have prepared with all my specifics, but often it comes back because of a wrong email address. I then try the website and am sometimes successful there.

For the emails that do go through, and I don't get an error response, many times I never get a response back one way or the other. So am I truly signed up with that company? I don't know.

Others reply back weeks or a month later, saying "you recently sent us an email...please fill out the attached notary packet...".

What do all of you do to make sure you're signed up with a company if you never hear back?

Good question Betsy,

I've wondered about that too. I've been planning to put together some type of flyer/letter to send to ss and title's but haven't yet. Procrastation is my middle name... You might want to repost this in a new thread I don't know how many will see it down here. I'd like to hear others ideas as well. Smiley
