The Notary Biz.....

Yes I have done a search. I am just wondering if they are still good or if they have been havign problems lately? Was asked to do a signing for them last wed and the borrower was going to be ut of town. So I was told that Title co cancelled the loan. Well I got a call from borrower this morning and he wanted to sign his docs after speaking with his lo. So I called The NOtary Biz and then waited for a call bak. The title co said because I would not backdate they are giving the signing to someone else. When I told her I wouldn't she said she new I wouldn't she just thought she would tell me that the TC would give me the signing if I would. So Why even bring it up if she new I wouldn't. Any opinions would be helpful. I read good stuff about this co and am not wanting to bad mouth them.

They are a pretty good company. Always have been paid on time, never been ask to backdate though. The only thing I have to say is that there fees are a little low(extremely low for countrtywide loans), and when doing a countrywide loan there are usually faxbacks and I hate that.

Yeah I know I read that they are a really good company that is why I signed up with them. I am assuming it was the title co that wanted the backdating done. Like I said I do not want to bad mouth them just want to know what everyones take is on this.

I have worked for the Notary Biz ever since I got my certification and have nothing but good things to say about them. Liz and the crew are top-notch people. I visited with them when I went to CA for my father's funeral and talked to Liz regarding the Countrywide problem. She is doing what she can to stop the faxbacks, but (as an aside), I work with another company in the same area (who also does Countrywide) and I not only have to do faxbacks with them, but have to wait to get a "Blessing" that the docs are all right, before I FedEx them back. So, the problem is Countrywide, not necessarily Notary Biz. They are a fair company, (sure, their rates could be higher, but who couldn't)...and I have no reservations recommending them to anyone for a company to work with. I am sorry that I wasn't clear as I should have been. I believe the backdating issue was with the title company not Notary Biz. I was jsut wondering if The Notary Biz was still a good company to work for. Again I hope that this clears that up. Smiley

I have done a few for them. They pay in 30 days or less.
