about ss's.

why do some ss's only list their e-mail adresses? I notice that some companies don't have a website. How are you supposed to sign up with these co's? Just e-mail them?

That would be a good place to start. When I first got started, I printed out all the companies on the NNA website (as it was about the only place that had a company directory). I snail-mailed, faxed and sent out emails to every co. listed. I made up a nice introductory letter that told my hours of availabilty, counties I covered and most important...how to reach me! Good luck to you.

Last night's closing

Hi Betsy. It was re-scheduled for today at 5PM (sigh). I'll tell more about in a little bit. I have some funny stuff to tell. Right now I'm getting my 2 and a half year old girl ready for daycare (teeth are brushed, time for flossing). Stay tuned, I will be back w/in the hour...........

Re: Last night's closing

How disappointing that it was postponed. I thought by now you'd have one under your belt...

Don't worry, you'll do fine. Sounds like you have done your homework. Once you've done one, it gets easier. I remember when I started and how I felt. Only doing this about 21 months now, but feel much more confident going in. Good luck and let me know what the "funny stuff" is.
