We all pay the same fees to be a member here, and as such we are "all" entitled to to ask questions or state "our" opnions, and we are already aware of how this affects some people in this forum.

While Cali's remark will probably not go well with the thin-skinned, to me, it is no worse than the white trash trailer trash comment from last week.

It's one thing to have negative AND positive posts but when there is an insatiable amount of negative posts from one person on the board and especially with telling someone to foff and calling them a bitch for duplicating messages is obsurd. Seems to me Cali is the one that needs a break or needs to sign up with another notary board!

I'm not worried about competition what so ever. I'm pretty sure you have a done a couple of signings for me. I remember having a "Carolyn do a couple of signings for me a few months ago and I couldn't remember if you lived in Pueblo or up north. I'm in Denver and trust me, if you lived next door I wouldn't be worried about competition. I don't remain anonymous for that reason.

Let me tell you a little story; my mother is gay, if someone makes a remark to me about her being gay I don't think it's a big deal. If someone, anyone makes any remarks about a figure of speech of gay people (which a lot of people do) I don't take it personal. When someone directly tells me to fcuk off, I think that is rude and unacceptable. That is me, that is my belief and I have every right to think that way. You have every right to think that my figure of speech trailer trash comment is rude and wrong. One of my bestest of friends lives in a trailer and I say things like that all of the time and she just laughs. She will make remarks about my mom and I just laugh. It's all in how you take it and what you believe in. You can believe in what you want to and I will believe in what I want to. But the moral of me telling you a little about my personal life is to make you see that I am no angel and if you were to open up a little bit and not take it to heart so much you might actually laugh too!

The original poster was being quite comical, that no one had responed to the question that she asked. This is supposed to be a forum wherein "professionals" can learn from each other. If you have ever worked in any business office or professional environment and attended admin meetings, the new people were allowed and encouraged to voice their suggestions and/or opinions without being attacked. There are quite a few of you that are of great help to new people, and a small handful that are just plain rude.

Hey, what do you know, I was offended too.

I was offended that the original poster posts on here for the FIRST time today (at least under that name), asked a question, got several responses, and then had the nerve to snidely say (4 hours later) "Thanks to all of you who responded with no information" since she apparently wasn't handed the exact information she wanted.

To me that is is being an ungrateful bitch. Why is it ok for you to point out how offended you are at my response, yet it's not equally ok for me to point out how I was offended by her response? It's worse because I use the word 'bitch"?

Get over it, it's 2005. If it can be used freely on TV and someone like Dr. Laura can use it on her national radio show, the adults in here should be able to handle it. And it sometimes hits the spot in ways that other words just don't.

I love that so many people have their panties in a wad over a couple of harmless and commonly used words, but they don't seem to think there's anything remotely wrong with a new person barging onto this board saying "gimme gimme gimme" and "thanks for nothing" when they she didn't get what she was demanding. But I'm not surprised in the least.
