notary calls
I have been on this web site for a few months now, and have not got any calls! Is this normal?

Yes, it is...
if you don't let people know who you are.

Re: You beat me to it Becca....m/n
I receive most of my calls from Notary Rotary and 123Notary.

Like I said before, you can't just open up a "store" and hope people will walk in. You gotta get busy and call/fax/email a letter of introduction to let 'em know you want to work. Good luck!

Re: notary calls and anonymous posting
The person posted anonymous for a very good reason. As long as there are unprofessional notaries insulting others and SS's reading this forum..there will probably be anonymous posting. It's the only way to prevent someone from being personally attacked by a mean spirited SA. And it's the only way to report deadbeat SS without a backlash against you. I don't see any difference in posting "anonymous" or with your first name and state initials. Either way, the forum doesn't know your real name. You could use your full name as I do then we would all be clear as to who you really are.
And posting anonymous had nothing to do with the poster's question. How many calls you will receive depends on many factors. How many SA/Notaries are advertising on the site in your area. If you have alot of competition on a particular notary directory then you might want to upgrade your membership so that your listing is moved up on the directory list. There are about a dozen good ones ie. NotaryRotary, 123, GoMobile, notaryservices, etc. And they all seem to have a different "demographic" meaning in some directories I have very little competition and in others there are over 100 SA's in my area.
