1st and 2nd not just a refinance

I got a call on Thursday to do signing for today Monday. The docs were going to be overnighted and it was a refi. SS offered me a cheap price and I said no, so SS okayed my price. I got the docs today and quess what they are a 1st and 2nd refi. So the price is way way to cheap. I just emailed SS and told them that on the confirmation it says refi not 1st and 2nd and price will need to go up. Can you believe some of these SS.

We have had this happen several times and always contacted the SS and they have always revised our fees allot of times they don't know it is a 1st and a 2nd.

Never had a problem renegotiating with the SS. You'd be suprised how many times the lender does not tell the SS that it is a 1st and 2nd refinance. Most are more than willing to renegotiate.
