I have to respond to this -- I did a signing for A&L Notary Nationwide Signings / Kami Rejino on 6/10/05. Kami paid 2 months later, BUT short paid my invoice $25.00. I have contacted her repeatedly via phone, email and fax asking to get this resolved. First she had a problem with just installing Quickbooks and getting it set up, then was in a rush, but would look into it. Now she just doesn't respond at all.

I found it interesting that on 10/19 she personally posted a comment on this site responding to Barb on this very issue of sloy pay/no pay -- quote "YES I DO pay the signing agent that signs with me....I pay all agents that do the signing right the 1st time....." unquote. I contacted her again regarding her post "Since I have not been notified that there was any fault with my work, I can only assume that you intentially meant to short me and not pay me."

This is a company that I will not work for again, but I will pursue her for what is owed + report her to the Better Business Bureau.

I did respond to you and the BBB closed the file ... I did reply to you ... I did not pay you the $25 ... I had to get the borrower to sign 3 docs that were not signed at the closing they were in the docs you had... please read my reply on this site/// thank you Kami

I completed an assignment 11/23/05, and after several inquiries (as of 2/22/06), no payment. Kamela N. Rejino (Kami), claims she is having trouble with Quickbooks and her tax preparer has her books and she can't write checks. She also has a bad attitude if you ask for payment. Watch out for this one, unless you like to work for free.

I will not just short a Signing Agent... I have had Signing Agents "forget "to have borrowers sign docs... I have had Signing Agents not send docs back on time.. Sat on docs 2 days...I lost a client ...escrow company due to notary's not doing there jobs right,,, I only hire off the NNA signing agent sight.
You will see on my signing request form ( Signing Agents .. Requirement on how to handle a signing..and what they are to do ,,If a borrower does not want to sign, making sure the signatures is not undersigned, who is to sign and yes,make sure all docs are signed.)It is sad I have to make sure the Signing Agent has to be told this... When I do not pay a notary it is because they did not do the job correctly the 1st time. I have had Signing Agents have to go back out at months resign docs , now dont forget it takes a 2 day pieord for docs to get back to lender escrow broker.. and the to be set for funding. and then see that the docs are signed wrong or someone forgot something like intials or yes no middle intial when the deed had one.
My accountant has been working with me on my Quick books .. Since November of 2005.
I have it set up. Now it is tax time. This is my Company and I will not just start wrighting checks until I can research it. I will not talk about any payment due ... to any Signing Agent unless im in front of my computer and I can see if I have been paid and if the Signing Agent has been paid. I have had Signing Agents tell me I have not paid them and I have. Proof of cashed checks.
