Bad Comments

I have had the bad experience of reading some peoples comments which are demeaning and critical towards other notaries. I believe that if you have something to say that would make another person sad or mad for the opinions that that person has, please dont post them on this board. I know that people just dont want to read these derrogatory comments, and most of us dont have the time to read them as well.

Frankly, good, bad, ugly, sweet and all in between is what seems makes this board work. We all have points of agreement and disagreement. While I don't think we should spend our time looking for ways to bash others, I accept the fact that a) we all have opinions and b) unlike the spoken word, one can only assume the writer's emotion and feelings with written word.
Personally, my point of tolerance for you is low. Why? You've appointed yourself the board police. To me it seems arrogant of you to try and police a board you don't even own.
JMHO,
Beth

I do not understand you when you state "I have had the bad experience to read". If you do not like the topic then do not read it, nobody is forcing you to read. This is a forum, someone posts a message, people respond in the thread, not all respones are going to agree with the original post, each respondent has their own opinion (thank god we live in the USA, which allows us this freedom of speech). I beleive that all responses good or bad help all of us in the field.

Re: Bad Comments...just "who" defines "bad"?

Well said BLE. "Arrogant" is putting it nicely.

I love it when people seem to think their sense of right and wrong is everyone's and should be adopted by the whole. Without the diversity on the board, it would be dull at best.

I think that----we all can discuss what ever we want to and on some matter's a person has to vent. If that borrower wants to read this message board and becomes offended, too bad.
They have their own chat room and can discuss what ever they want to. Besides that, if their house is dirty and they have loads of animals, maybe they would learn to clean it up and take care of their pets. If the other notaries don't want to read what is posted (DONT READ) simple as that. You can learn a lot from a dummy.

You don't post with a city or state. What state are you from?

You just have to love this board sometimes. The chutzpah levels can be remarkable.
