Beware! Do not accept jobs from Accudata Search
Do not take any jobs from Accudata Search of Buffalo/Syracuse. They Do Not Pay. I have done 6 jobs for them and they haven't paid me yet. When I called, Brenda Mills said, "I don't know when we'll be able to pay. It may be a year." Apparently there is a long line of people waiting to be paid by them, but it didn't stop them from asking me to do those 6 jobs for them.

I work on a regular basis for a signing service in New York. They accepted many closings from Accudata and are now owed thousands of dollars. the owner of the signing service is now going to start ligitgation to get the money. Accudata from what I understand is in very bad shape. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE ACCEPTS A SIGNING FROM THEM. I could almost guarentee that payment will NOT be made. I have spoken with many many notaries and anyone who has done closings for them in the last six months has not been paid. Accudata does alot of signings in New York and Connecticut - listen to me - do not accept the closing unless you are willing to perform your services for free.

What period of time did these six signings occur -- all within a month? -- 3 months -- 6 months -- 9 months? I don't want to appear harsh, but if they were all within a month or two, then I have sympathy for you. However, if they were over a long period of time, I don't understand why, or anyone in your situation, continues accepting signings from a company that has not paid for past signings.

With all due respect, I was not trying to cry to anyone about non payment, but merely warning all of you NOT to take closings from them. Whether its one closing for a single singing agent or 100 from a service they DO NOT PAY THEIR BILLS. You can accept closings if you want, but like I mentioned, if you plan on offering your services for free.
