Generally accepted difference: E-docs is generic for any docs received via internet. So, if a TC/SS says docs are e-docs, it means you will get docs via internet and you will print. These docs can be as attachments to an e-mail. If they are, they will most likely be PDF. OR, you may have to go to another site to get the docs. See below...
Digital docs is generally accepted to mean docs that are picked up by going to a different site where the docs are placed by the TC. You are given a link and a passowrd. Often these docs are not in PDF format. There are several different programs in use to download/print from these sites. Examples are Elynx, Swiftview, etc.
