Does this make sense?

SS calls requesting edoc signing. Their fee is $25 less than what I normally charge for edocs. Says she thinks she knows another notary closer to the signers (so why didn't she call them first?)
Anyway, she says since I wouldn't have to "pick up" the docs and "deliver" them she couldn't justify the $25 difference. Am I missing something here? Still would have to print docs and drop off at FedEx.

You're not missing anything. She's just trying to rationalize a lower fee.

Re: Does this make sense? Nope.

Barb, you're waaaaay to sharp to even question this. Stick to your guns - you offer error free signings and if the SS doesn't see that, you don't need them. They are lucky to have you in the area of that signing...and if it were an option to choose another notary for less, they would have done so - with all the repercusions.

Re: Good for you Barbara n/m

If she calls back, double your price and rationalize the the price of gas at the station just went up....
