EAGLE WINGS NOTARY SERVICE

I did a signing for this company in August and to date I have not been paid. I called and left several messages for the very nice lady Brenda that sent me the signing; however, all my calls are unanswered. It is just ashamed that these people can call and send us where ever to do signings and then decide before they even send us that we would not get paid. I just simply add then to my BAD COMPANIES LIST.

I did one for them also and Brenda Wohlfarth never return any of my calls and she never did pay me. I also placed them on my DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY LIST.

I've never worked for them, so can't comment as to my own experience. However, in doing a search just now, there are a handful of posts in a couple of threads stating payment history is slow, or being paid half one month and half the next.

I don't usually put much stock in no-no lists, because one person's no-no can be another's gold mine -- unless post after post state slow or nonpayment, and those raise a red flag for me.

You didn't say when in August you did the signing. This is only the 6th of October, still only 30 some days, even if the signing occurred August 1. There are some SSs that pay in 30 days. There are more that pay in 45 days, and then there are those that take 45 plus.

oops. Ignore my calculations. Of course it is more than 30 some days if the signing happened the first of August, but if it happeneded towards the end of the month, that makes a difference in how late the payment is -- and that's the point I was trying to make initially. I still don't get excited until the 45 day mark is passed.

Have you had any signings with Nationwide Document Services? What has been your experience with them?

I did a closing for Eagle Wings Notary Service in September (9th) and still have NOT been paid. I have called, emailed, and faxed them and NO answers! Brenda and Gene don't know how to run a business and I will never work for them again.
