Expired Driver license question for Colo....

Had a closing scheduled for last Friday, the borrowers backed out. SS called yesterday to reschedule with same borrowers. I am printing off docs now and I still had a copy of their drivers license from before. Since the signing never happened last Friday I didn't register the license. I was reviewing it now and noticed that the wife's license is expired. I called the borrowers and brought this to their attention. The husband said his wife had gone to get her license renewed and they gave her a slip of paper and said her license would be in the mail. I asked them to make a copy of the paper for me to send along with her expired license. zWill this be sufficient?
