Express Notary Payments?

I've done work before for Express Notary and the payments have always been timely. Now I am waiting on one that is 40 days out, called and was given the "checks were mailed last week" speech. Anyone else waiting unusually long to receive payment? Hope Harry and company are ok, nice people.

Just checked my QuickBooks, and I did a closing for them on 09/06/05. Still no payment. I see where I did one for them in Jan and got paid within 2 weeks. I wonder what the deal is with them?

I believe his name is "Larry." Late payments are not a good sign. I wrote about my experience with them on a 10/26/05 thread. They smile up front, but I'm not quite so sure what goes on in the back room.

I did one for them recently. I haven't done many for them but in the past was paid promptly. We will see. I think we should all be very wary of signing cos., even the good ones. I think the writing is on the wall, even this wall.

i wonder if andy is still in charge and i know brett has left. the guys i have dealt with recently are new. payables have slowed down considerably as well over the last month. this was always a reputable company before and paid PROMPTLY. i'm due payables for month end...we'll see.

Hmmmm, I did one on 9/16 that I haven't been paid for. Didn't think anything of it until now. They've always paid like clockwork, probably the most consistent SS I've ever worked for.

Not a good sign.
