Faxing question for all

I am currently using efax to receive faxes only. (Have a fax at home to send). I have heard good things about k-7. Can you give me a "why I use it and like it/don't like it" on whatever your using.
Thanks,
Beth

I use Maxemail, never had a problem and it's not that expensive.

I never even considered Maxemail. What are their costs/set up?

I use Fax2Mail, the cost is $13/month for 300 incoming faxes. 10 cents for any inbound faxes over the 300, and for outbound faxes. I have never had any problems. I however did not research it much when I signed up.

Cost for Maxemail

Maxemail lite gives you 500 pages per month with a Chicago Phone number for $15.85 per year. There is a set up fee of $10 or $20 (can't remember which).

I you want a local number it is something like $70 a year, and you get less pages per month.

I have never heard of any complaints with Maxemail and have never been disappointed myself.

a good thing about efax is that you can print off something you've missplaced. I've used winfax in the past, but now use a fax machine. I have a fax at home and one at the office, and it's always a problem which # to give for last minute docs (where will I be when they are ready). The efax method . . . is that something you can get like your email?

I can't speak on behalf of efax, but Fax2Mail sends your faxes into your email as a PDF. I have it for pretty much the same reason as you. I am not always by my home fax and this allows me to check faxes anytime, anywhere.

I use K7. Mostly I like it because it's free, and it leaves my home phone line free.

Just started to using K7 and it works! I use an image program which displays existing image files (for those scanned digital images) and print them. You get a copy of it sent to your email. It's convenient and free.
