Fraudulent Quitclaim deed

Did anyone (FL) see the news story recently about the arrest of two people who fraudulently took ownership of an old woman's house by using a quitclaim deed? Unfortunately, I only caught the tail end of the story so I don't have any details. However, I would think that the notary who notarized this document is in a heap of trouble also.

I read the story on the Boca Notary that Notorized bogus Deeds from a scam artist on the West Coast of Florida. The Notary worked in the court house and was found to have Notorized the signatures of deceased people.

Please do share.

These people were total scam artists. The female was the office manager at the victim's Dr.'s office. They haven't revealed anything about the notary who signied the quit claim deed, but it sounds as if she was in on the scam.
