GMAC Mortgage Corporation Electronic Delivery Service?

Can someone tell me what this is and if any of you have been sent this same E-mail? I know that I have been signing up with many companies, yet again, to boost business but I did not make a folder for this one and do not remember signing up. Does this E-mail mean that they are soliciting me?

I did do a search on GMAC and found some stuff but nothing regarding this particular E-mail. Charm did mention back in July that she had a solicited E-mail from GMAC.

Here is the E-mail;

Soon, you will be receiving your final closing documents over the
Internet, faster, and with greater control from Gmac Direct Lending, using
eLynx WPS. This E-Mail provides you with instructions on getting
started.

There is no cost to you for this service.

Here’s how it works: After your closing documents are created, you
will receive an email directing you to the Gmac Direct Lending document
site. Click on the document name and it will download and print
automatically to your default printer. Your printer needs to be equipped to
handle both legal and letter sized document printing. That’s it!

To begin using this new service, just follow these 3 simple steps:

1. Using the email address you’ll be using to retrieve documents, send
an email to the following email address

[e-mail address]

In the body of the email include your name and phone number.

2. When your sign-up email arrives (within 24 hours), register, login,
download a simple print utility and print your sample document.

3. After successfully printing both pages of the sample package (legal
and letter), you are ready to receive your documents electronically!

Thank you and welcome aboard!

Thank you in advance for any clarification, sounds to me like they are soliciting me? :0

I received the same e-mail tonight. I assume it has something to do with Ditech docs, but I don't know anymore than you do....hope someone does. I have also been marketing again lately, but do not have a new folder for GMAC.

I hope someone can let us know if it is safe to reply to this E-mail and follow through or not? I do not want to pass up an opportunity but these days, you also have to be careful of E-mails and/or companies on the so great list.

I talked to a few of my SS and they say that ditech will be doing alot of email docs soon. You must have a dual tray laser printer though. I was told that it was in the working stages, but it is a slow process. We shall see.

I think this email may have something to do with "FASS" First American Signaure Services.
They were the last company I signed up with about 2 months ago and I've done one for them a few weeks ago and I remember using e-lynx (?) if i'm not mistaken.

I have never received this email from GMAC but the companies that I sign for always ask if you have a dual tray laser printer for their docs. Is there a contact number where you might get some info?

I received that email last week, also. I think I got it through LoanClosers.com. I didn't follow through with the process b/c I don't care to work with them any longer. (Their base pay is $50.00 and the edoc fee is $75. They require a lot of faxing back and are just not worth it.) Hopefully, the other agencies you received the email from are better to work for!

I too received the same e-mail. Has anyone followed the procedures. And if so, what have you found out. Thanks in advance. P.S. I also have signed up with various ss's but not gmac.

I understand that you are in Orange County. I will be moving from the Riverside area to Aliso Viejo by the end of the month. I hope business is good in Orange County.

I also received this e-mail, I sent the first reply back but have not done the second part. Last week I did a closing for a GMAC Loan, I don't remember whick signing company it was with.

I do GMAC loans all the time. Usually they prefer to overnight the docs. If the closing department fails to do that for some reason, we resort to edocs since we are then down to the wire.

When we decided together that this was an option, they sent me the same email, I downloaded the e-lynx, and printed out their docs.

GMAC does not contact me directly for closings. A title company contacts me, but we used GMAC and their e-lynx nonetheless. I like working for them. Their docs are simple.

Thank you for the info and I will at least go ahead and follow through with the E-mail now that I know it won't hurt!

Anybody print the sample?

I found it strange that they emphasized the fact that a dual tray printer is required and when I printed the sample file, it printed on all letter size.

What have others found when you printed the sample file?

Re: Anybody print the sample?

When I printed the sample file, it printed on both letter and legal. However when I got the e-lynx message with the real borrower file, you click on it and it takes off without letting you view it first, and it printed on all legal. I did this three times for them and they never called me about it afterwards, and I did get paid.

Re: Anybody print the sample?

Betsy - Which pages printed on legal size? I've talked to a couple of other folks who said when they printed it, it all printed on letter, even though the printer is a dual tray. You're actually the only one who has said that the sample file (SampleP.pcl) actually used legal size.

Re: Anybody print the sample?

Gosh Paw, I can't remember which pages. I just looked in my e-lynx file but can't come up with anything to help. It's been quite awhile but I know the sample printing was succesful.

At any rate when I finally get their files now, they all print on legal.

Re: Anybody print the sample?

You must be printing their OLD samples. This is a new one referenced in the emails that are dated in the past couple of days. Thanks anyway.
