Has anyone used a drum kit ?

I need a new drum for my brother 5170dnlt. I just purchased it in March. Seem soon. Anyway I was looking on ebay. They have drum kits ? Anyone tried this before ?

Haven't used one, but its an easy job to replace one. I think that you should be able to get a drum for $110 +/-.
Sound like you are busy. Estimated life of drum is 20,000 pages. Assuming like toner our work is harder on drums (greater fill % per page) you should get 15,000 pages - or 75+ e-docs packages of 200 pages total each.

Thanks for the information. Ebay has drum kits for my printer I should be able to pick up for $45.00 or I can go with a remanufactured one for about $60.00. I have not tried the remanufactured ones either. Would save some money. I do refill my toner big savings there !!

you can get a compatable or remanufactured for about the same price. E-bay has both.
