I did a signing and the check was cut and mailed before the signing took place. It had a postmark the day of the signing and the signing was at 7pm. I received it the next day!

PS: NO, I will not share who the company was. I will say that it was not any of the co's mentioned in this thread so far.

I have one title company who's used me a couple of times. I've picked up the docs from their office and they hand me my check with the docs. I can definitely live with that kind of business!

borrower heard of me through "word of mouth" and told lender/title company they had thier own notary! called me directly asked me my fee's and i got paid on the spot from the borrower! now thats they way it otta be!

(docs were sent directly to borrower from title company) I did not do anything except my job ... borrower took responsbility for it all I got paid and walked away.

Need more of those! but its definately one for the history books!
