IRS Business Write Off
Aside from driving to and from signings, can you also write off mileage for driving to office supply stores when you need to purchase your business supplys? It seems that I spend alot of time driving to Staples I don't have any office stores in my area so it's about a 25 mile round trip and that can add up.
TIA

Yes you can deduct it. Count yourself lucky it is about 110 to any office supply for me if not more one way.

Also, mileage to drop off packages is a business expense.

I order my supplies online for delivery. most of the companies deliver free if over $50. With either paper or ink thats an easy number to reach.

Yes it is deductible mileage. Why don't you just call Stables or Office Max and have them deliver. It is generally free with a $50.00 purchase. Save on the gas.

I generally get my paper at Costco, another 110 miles round trip, but I can write it off. Plus I can get the groceries I want. Other than that I do order things on the net from Superwarehouse and others.

Thanks to everyone for all your input, I think that's a great idea to have supplies delivered, I will be doing that from now on!
