It must be one of those days.

I got called to do a signing today from a company who got my name from this forum, rearranged my schedule a bit to work it in around my other job, rush home to see that the docs still haven't arrived for a 7PM closing and it was 5:30Pm. No contact info for the signing company on my confirmation sheet only the LO's number. Call the LO only to be told that the signing has been postponed till probably Wednesday.

It sure would have been nice if someone would have told me. I had to turn down another closing for this evening because I thought I had this one. What Happened to common courtesy? Well have a nice night everyone I just had to vent.

It is one of those days..I think for everyone!

I received a call around 1pm to do a 5:30 closing. Accepted because my day was pretty clear. Received the confirmation and then about 1 hour later, received a call that closing was cancelled because borrower didn't agree with the fees. This was ok, because I had not yet received the docs so no printing was done. 30 minutes later, I received another call for a 6pm closing. Accepted and received confirmation and docs. I called and left message for borrower confirming the time. Printed 2 sets of docs, prepared my overnight slips, completed cover letters, etc..was on my way out the door, when I received a call back from the borrower stating they had changed their mind and no longer wanted the loan. What?!?! After all that printing (approx 250 pages)?

This has been a day, so you're not alone.

Here I sit----waiting for the docs that were going to be to me by4:00EST--It is now 6:ooPMEST with an hour drive ahead of me with a 7:ooPM closing..Somehow I don't think I'll make it. It has to be in the water.UGH!

At least I got lucky and didn't print anything yet. As for the 7Pm closing and no docs yet I think you are right you aren't going to make it on time. That is so frustrating and it makes us look bad.

I feel your pains, I too have had a frustrating day. Must be the stars and moons are not lined up for those folks who are crafty and witty enough to be in this industry and succeed!

You have a terrific future and a strong mind... one bad day does not make your career!
