LFC lowering fees !!
Got a call from LFC to do a closing 25 miles away. Said they were redoing their pay rates .. quoted a fee 20% less than what I had been getting for last 2 years. But she said" will move you up on the list for signings in your area" SURE, if I cut my rates I'd get a lot of business. NOT !!!!.
Anyone else get this from LFC?

Is LFC Lender's First Choice out of Simi Valley? LFC in Simi Valley is a Title Co. (see their website at www.lendersfirstchoice.com).

I get signings from them on a regular basis, have not been asked to take a reduced fee and will not take one.

If they are a Title Co, then they have already reduced their fees by paying SS fees. Irregardless, you all set your own fees as independent contractors.

I do lots of work for Lenders First Choice, Semi Valley, CA and also Frisco, TX and Longwood, FL and I've never been asked to reduce my fees. They always pay fairly and always quickly. Same goes for First American Heritage Title.

I have spoken with a couple of their schedulers, and it seems that they're catching flack over the fees they're agreeing to.

Just got a call to do a signing in my area, needs to be done in 1 hour and they are web docs. Fees reduce by 20% and I said no way and she said she would take me off their list. I said good. I quess there is plenty of notaries out there that will accept these fees.

I do several closings for all three LFC offices. They have never asked me to lower my fees. As a matter of fact, I informed them of an increase in my fees due to rising das prices and they have agreed to every closing and every price I quote them.
