Mentors in Michigan
Like many, I'm a newbie and have lots of questions. I'm sure many have already been covered in this forum, but even though I've tried, I obviously haven't found the answers yet. I must not be using the right search words.
My questions vary: 1. Is there anyone in the Lansing MI area that is willing to be a mentor to a newbie? I found one person, but she now has a new baby and has no time. Others have just plain refused. 2. Where can I find the most inclusive and comprehensive training: the biggest bang for the buck? I was told by some that Just Point and Sign would be a good place to start. Opinions? 3. Laser printers with the best performance and least maintenance? All in ones? 4. Purchasing ones own fax machine vs internet service efaxing? 5. If someone knows of the message numbers that could possibly answer any question(s), please respond with those numbers.
I thank you all in advance for your patience, understanding and your assistance. Remember, we all have to start somewhere. Unless I ask questions, I won't find answers. (Please don't come down on me because I do) Thanks. Have a great day!

THose are good questions. It is not easy starting out. I have just started myself though. I found a brother printer all in one and it seems to be working great. Plus their customer service is awesome. plust the toner cartridges are a little cheaper. Cutting costs down a little there. I hope this helps.

Check out Brother MFC 8220 which should have all the parts covered to get you started. You can add LT5000 ( a second paper tray ) at a later date or now. Good speed on all functions, and easy to use. Cost effective

Re: Mentors available as a Signing Registry member ...
One advantage to joining the Signing Registry, is that there are mentors available for the asking. All mentors must be certfied Registered Signing Agents with plenty of experience.
